ferret-datasets software package provides Datasets for use with Ferret Visualisation and analysis suite, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install ferret-datasets
ferret-datasets is installed in your system.
Make ensure the ferret-datasets package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep ferret-datasets *
You will get with ferret-datasets package name, version, architecture and description in a table
